The boys skating at the park

We have had some gorgeous winter weather the last week, and we are trying to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The boys are enjoying skating, and Tom has been taking them to our park to practice. Fr. John, I thought you would enjoy these pictures. They are doing really well.

I love it Catherine! Your boys definitely look like true Minnesoteans (don't know how to spell that one :)

I'd haven't skated on ice for about 15 years but it is a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing this- we're proud of our grandsons!

I'm so happy I got to see your beautiful home and town, Cath, so I can mentally situate all your pictures and blog posts now. These pictures are great! What fabulous and healthy winters your kids are going to have. I loved the story Tom told me about all the parks creating ad hoc skating rinks every winter. Minneapolis is so cool (in all senses of the word.) :)

Thanks!
Yes, Cathy, your right, MN is a very cool place in every sense of the word. The boys really do like skating which is wonderful. There are a lot of fun things in the winter, but there is really nothing like it in the summer. You will have to come back some year when it is warm. It is so beautiful.

everyone looks great in these pictures!!! i'm so glad the holidays were so fun! And, we're joining you in your winter fun this year....yikes. we are snowed in (not as much snow as you get but our city has no idea how to handle it, don' have the plows etc, so we're all snowed in and schools are shut down...funny...)
anyway, love to all!!
