6 years!

It's hard to believe that our Wedding was already 6 years ago! Time really flies. I have the most wonderful memories from that beautiful day. It is also hard to believe how much life has changed since then, and how much our love has grown with each year. I am so grateful for the my amazing husband.

Happy birthday Jack and Lydia!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my sweet John Marcus!

Jack is such a happy-go-lucky little guy, full of energy and love. He brings us so much joy and laughter each day. He loves life and his family, especially his big brother Frederick. He loves to play with Frederick, and he finally entered into a new stage where they can play together so much better. It is very nice, and beautiful to watch their relationship to develop. Jack has a harder time showing love to his little sister, and enjoys knocking her over at almost every possible chance. He is working on it though. He really has such a loving, generous heart.

Happy 2nd birthday to Lydia Catherine Heil! Lydia, too, is so full of life and energy. She is such a sweet girl, and we had so much fun with her at the beach. It is fun that these two share a birthday, and have similar personalities. And they look like they could be brother and sister, too.

The beach!!!!!

We had the 'bestest week' (as the boys would say) at the beach with the famly. The children loved spending time with their cousins and Grandmom and Grandad, and did not want to go home. The highlights were: ice cream everyday, building sand castles, jumping in the waves, looking for crabs, the boardwalk, and most importantly time with the family. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for such a lovely week.

Mom's really nice friend came over and took family pictures the night before we left. My personal favorites are of all the Grandchildren sitting on the boat.

Grandma's funeral

Grandmas Betty's funeral was really a wonderful celebration. Mom hosted a party for family and friends on a Thursday night, and the funeral the next Friday morning. The funeral was beautiful, and all her favorite songs were sung. After the burial, there was a lunch for everyone at the Sheraton hotel. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and I think Grandma would have been very happy that everyone celebrated in her name.
