The cabin

We had a wonderful week up north with the whole Berg clan a few weeks ago. Having Fr. John with us makes it all the more fun! We are so thankful to be able to go to the cabin, and make memories every year.

Brown's visit

The Browns spent almost a week with us in the middle of July. We had such a wonderful time together. The kids had a blast and enjoyed every minute of each other's company. It was gorgeous MN summer weather all week, and we were able to really relax and enjoy being together. Thank you for making the effort to visit us, Luis, Cal, John Paul, Gabriel, and Monica! We love you.

Buzz lightyear, I mean Jack, is 4!!!!!

Jack turned 4 July 24th!!! From the pictures, you can tell his obsession with Buzz Lightyear. He recieved his costume from his cousins, and wings from Grandad and Grandmom or his birthday. He has been wearing them since. He is such a wonderful boy, filled with so much joy and love, and we are so grateful for his life!! Happy birthday sweet boy.

The beach

We had a wonderful week at the beach with the Pierces, Heils, and Browns. We were only missing John who is over in Italy right now. The week was packed with lots of time on the beach, the boardwalk, wonderful food, ice cream, fun with the cousins, and overall, just great family time. It was gorgeous weather, and very peaceful and relaxing. It was a taste of heaven.

Francis Michael

As most of you know, we lost our littlest baby at 11 weeks gestation. It was a great sadness. But we know that this little baby was not meant for Earth, and God knows best in all things. We were able to have a simple burial service for the baby with just our little family. It was very beautiful, and healing. These pictures are from the Catholic cemetary where we buried little Francis Michael. So we have a saint interceding for us in Heaven. Little Francis, pray for us!

Happy 6th Birthday Frederick!

Today is Frederick's 6th birthday!!! He is such a sweet boy who is so good to his brother and sister, and to his parents. Freddy is always thinking of others, and a joy to be around. We had a party for him today with friends. It was our first 'real' party for him, and he had so much fun. It was a gorgeous day, so we enjoyed our back yard, and played lots of games.

I am so grateful for him everyday.

Happy belated birthday beautiful Gemma Catherine

Gemma's 2nd birthday was April 23rd. She loved having her birthday, and really enjoyed the attention. She brings so much joy and laughter to our lives. We love you Gemma, and are so grateful for the gift of you.
