Christmas with the Bergs/Kisters/Bergs

We had a breakfast and gift exchange with Gandma and Grandpa Berg.

Jack really loves trains right now, and all he wanted for Chirstmas was a railroad crossing sign, so here it is. He carries around almost everywhere he goes.

Christmas cookies and gift exchange with the Kistlers.

Gemma got a rosary made by Anna, and her first cell phone from Catherine.

We had the Tim and Robin Bergs over for dinner and a gift exchange the night before we left for Philly.

That same night, we exchanged a few gifts to each other. The boys gave Gemma the dress up jewelry and ice cream cones. WE do this in MN becuase it is way too hard to bring a lot to Philly.

We got a new camara!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a beautiful Christmas with the Bergs in MN, and the Pierce, Heil, and Brown families out East. I will be posting some more pictures soon, but here are just a few taken by my amazing husband who surprised me with a new Nikon camara for Christmas! It had always been a little dream of mine to own a nice camara, and our previous camara has been broken since September. We are both having a lot of fun with it, and actually Tom is having more fun with it than me. He had been taking some gorgeous pictures. The first 6 pictures are in our home, and the last 4 are from our trip. I love you Tom...thanks for the beautiful camara.

Happy birthday Cal!!

Just a quick shout out to Carolyn Elizaboth on her birthday!! Cal, we love you and hope you had a beautiful day today. Thanks for being such an amazing sister, friend, auntie, and Godmommy to us. May God bless you! You are beautiful.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was at the Kistlers this year. The annual football game was played. The kids put on a great play. Jack refused to be a pilgrim or an indian but it still turned out great. The food was terrific. The girls got to go on a little walk after the meal. The boys enjoyed the football games on TV. Freddy and Anna had fun getting the wishbone out of the turkey.
Gemma loved playing with all the Kistler's baby dolls. The only thing that would have made the day better would have been if Uncle John was with us. We missed you Uncle John!!

Jack's first college basketball game

The night I got back from D.C., Jack and I went to our very first Gopher basketball game. Jack had a blast, and was mesmorized by the whole experience. His favorite part was when Goldie, the mascot, visited him. It was such a treat to watch him enjoy himself. He ate his whole tub of popcorn all by himself, and cheered the whole time. It was precious.

Beautiful Alexandria

How is it already December?!!!!! I don't know where November went, but it was a lovely month. The first weekend, Tom stayed home with the boys while me and Gemma flew to Alexandria to visit the beautiful Brown family and John. We had an incredible weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. The weather was gorgeous, and the leaves were in their peak of Autumn colors. Cal and I got to have a couple nights out with friends, and we even got to take a walk and do some shopping just the two of us. We had delcious meals, and enjoyed time together. I also got to see a a little of John's campus, and spent an evening walking around D.C. with him. It was a lot of fun. Thank you Carolyn, Luis, John Paul, Gabriel and Monica for hosting us, and for such a great weekend.
